Founded by Graham Parker, Ralph Parker, and Henry Parker Brewer, The Original Parkers Barbecue opened in August of 1946 just off Highway 301 in Wilson, North Carolina. Beginning as more than just a restaurant, Parker’s was primarily a family-focused destination specializing in pit-cooked barbeque and fried chicken and continues to do so today under owners Donald Williams, Eric Lippard, and Kevin Lamm. We have been serving our barbeque, chicken, and sides to the local community, Carolinas, and beyond for over 75 years and pride ourselves in our time-tested consistency.
